This API uses the FHIR standard on the R4 version.
FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) is a globally-recognized standard for healthcare data exchange, published by HL7.

This standard allows to:

  • Achieve interoperability with other systems using the same standard.
  • Leverage globally-approved healthcare data models.
  • Provide secure, reliable, and scalable solutions for modern healthcare challenges.

To begin using the SKEZI API, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the SKEZI Platform:
    Navigate to this link and sign in to your SKEZI account

  2. Create an API Access:
    After logging in:

    • Go to the API Connections tab.
    • Create a new application.
    • Assign permissions (read/write) to define the appropriate scopes for your use case.
    • Find your Client ID and Client Secret.
  3. Authentication Process:
    The API uses a Client ID and Client Secret unique pair for authentication. This token is:

    • Valid for 5 minutes to enhance security.
    • Must be refreshed periodically to maintain access.
